First I would like to sincerely apologize to anyone who has been affected by harassment and feels like they don’t belong. I want everyone to feel welcome. There have been many reports that surfaced lately of workplace harassment and bias. These claims stated that we allowed sexual harassment in the workplace as well as violating equal pay. Nike has zero tolerance for any form of misconduc
As a whole we won’t stand for judgement. We don’t have a certain image that must be met, all are welcome. We are all inclusive and want to create a safe and happy work environment for everyone. My goal is for everyone to feel like they belong at Nike. Moving forward here are steps we can all follow:
-Provide a continuous open line of communication without bias.
-Immediately report events and behavior that creates a negative discourse.
-Treat each other with respect and dignity.
This will help us to prevent any further misconduct throughout our offices. Creating a better work environment for us all. It is imperative that Nike stands together. We must be unified to create a cohesive environment where all feel welcomed, and encourage creative minds to be innovative. We can all make a better Nike.
